Mastitis Indicator

When caught early, many cases of mastitis can be successfully treated. That’s why Dr. Naylor developed an indicator to help farmers and ranchers catch and treat the infection before it progresses.

Dr. Naylor’s Mastitis Indicators are safe and simple color-metric cow-side tests for mastitic milk, designed to test the milk from the corresponding quarter of the cow’s udder.  A color-change blotter card reveals flakes and clots, and also tests for abnormally alkaline milk, all of which point to a mastitis infection.
