VTM 20% Supplement

Masterfeeds VTM 20 (pellet) is a trace mineral and vitamin supplement with 20% protein. It can be mixed with grains to make your own ration or top-dressed on complete feeds to add additional minerals, vitamins and protein. Very palatable and versatile, it’s a great choice for all classes of horses when extra nutrients are required.

Nutritional Analysis:

Feed VTM 20 as the sole source of minerals and vitamins at ¼ kg per 100 kg of body weight per horse per day for a mature horse, ¾ kg per 100 kg of body weight for weanlings and ½ kg per 100 kg of body weight for yearlings. VTM 20 can be fed on its own with high quality forage, or can be mixed with grains for those horses needing additional calories.

Use VTM 20 in addition to a complete feed when you are feeding less than the recommended amount. Feed 200 grams for every kilogram of complete feed you are under the recommended amount. For example. If the feeding directions for your horse suggest 3 kgs of Surmount, but the horse is overweight, you could feed 1 kg Surmount, with 400 grams of VTM 20 to provide a balanced program.
