Slatted Rack

Slatted Racks are an advantageous add-on to your existing or new hive! Reduces draft from the entrance allowing the queen to lay lower in the comb. Provides more space for clustering which can reduce the tendency to swarm. Install between the bottom board and brood chamber with the sold wood section facing the entrance and the flush side facing up. Slats line up with frames preventing the bees from overwaxing frame bottoms and allowing mites to fall directly through a screened bottom board.
