Hydrated Spray Lime

Commonly used in agriculture as a white wash disinfectant for the treatment of manure and other digestive tract contents. Hydrated Lime is not ideal for combating ammonia odours in stalls/barns although commonly used.

It is advisable to physically separate animals from the lime, as it is caustic. This can be done by adding a layer of bedding material such as wood shavings, shredded paper, wood pellets, kitty litter, Stall Dry, or straw.

Hydrated Lime can be used on lawns, gardens, & potted plants. For gardens, work in the lime around each plant & water normally. For potted plants, mix one tablespoon of lime in one gallon of water & apply as you would normally water.

This analysis conforms to ASTM C-911 standard for dry hydrated lime using ASTM test methods C.25
